- ECSA-registered Professional Engineering Technician

or eligible for registration
- Minimum of eight years’ post-qualification or

directly applicable and acceptable experience in an

electricity distribution system environment with

exposure to a wide range of technologies.
- Good project management skills
- Code B driver's licence

Key Performance Areas
- Plan and design the short
- to medium-term development

of the electricity distribution system
- Plan and design network extensions in response to customer

investigating sites, designing suitable extensions to the
- Implement the capital programme for medium voltage distribution

network and major service connection projects which includes

planning material, labour and transport requirements, performing

contract management and administration, and providing financial

control
- Facilitate the establishment of residential, commercial and

industrial township developments
- Facilitate the regulation of new or upgraded embedded

generation

installations including small-scale embedded generation
