- Ensure the products conform to the relevant brand specifications
- Perform daily microbiological and biochemical tests on beer and utility samples
- Perform weekly analysis on ranging beer parameters
- Maintain laboratory equipment and functionality
- Keep detailed records of results and analyses
- Submit data timeously to adhere to production schedules
- Assist in R&D project development and testing***
**Requirements of the Role**:
- NSC Matric Certificate with Core Maths, Biology, Science
- Tertiary degree/diploma in food science, microbiology, or related field.
- 1 year experience in a laboratory environment
- Sensory analysis experience
**Preferred Skills/Competencies**:
- Sterile sampling techniques
- Microbiological plating techniques and methods
- Computer proficient
- Good communication skills
