**JOB PURPOSE**

We are currently searching for a creative copywriter who is dedicated to crafting excellent original content. Copywriters will work with internal and external stakeholders to better understand project expectations, participate in the brainstorming process, and conduct research to develop or support writing. You should also be prepared to assist with other creative processes, such as the visual element selection process.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The successful incumbent will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Edits and proofreads all copy before it goes live.
- Develops and maintains brand voice and tone.
- Uses data-driven marketing to guide all copy decisions.
- Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Presents creative briefs and finishes projects to company executives.
- Work on multiple projects at once and excels at project management.
- Collaborates with colleagues from other departments to help them hit their marketing goals.
- Works well independently with a team.
- Knows how to use popular digital marketing tools, including content management software, search engine optimization software and website analytics software.
- Creating and editing original copy that is accurate, well-researched, and meets the company’s needs.
- Learning and understanding the target audience to write compelling copy.
- Writing of press releases, internal company memos and board pack presentations.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism or communications, or related field.
- At least five years of agency or in-house copywriting experience is strongly preferred.

**MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**
- Demonstrated writing and typing skills.
- Experience writing copy or with the furniture industry, will be beneficial.
- Strong communication, research, and typing skills.
- Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation.
- Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience. Receptive to feedback.
- Willingness to meet deadlines.
