Job Purpose The Senior UI/UX Copywriter is responsible for collaborating with product and creative teams to produce engaging, response‑driven copy for apps and online experiences. They conceptualise and articulate campaign and product ideas across multiple brands, develop compelling copy based on campaign and product concepts, and ensure consistency in tone and style while managing multiple projects with high copywriting standards. Responsibilities Conceptualisation Conceptualise and articulate campaign ideas, copy for applications and online experiences across multiple brands within TIH. Collaborate with UX designers and product owners to bring complex projects to life. Content Creation Write and edit compelling creative copy for applications that is business‑critical and highly visible. Ensure tone and style consistency with visual and brand guidelines, participate in strategic brainstorming, feature development, and creative execution, and translate briefs into engaging copy concepts while maintaining quality control. Stakeholder Engagement Identify stakeholders, understand their needs, concerns and react by arranging meetings, drafting supporting materials and maintaining relationships across multiple departments. Use insights to guide the creation of effective and engaging copy aligned with campaign and product strategies. Improvement / Innovation Identify shortcomings and propose improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures; deliver change‑management plans with guidance from project/program managers. Regularly review content and copy, identify improvement areas and implement changes that enhance quality, relevance and effectiveness, linking efforts to innovation and continuous improvement. Document Preparation Write and edit material for diverse target populations, tailoring tone and content to audience needs. Compile and format copy decks logically, ensuring adherence to organisational style guidelines and consistent accuracy. Personal Capability Building Act as subject‑matter expert in technology, policy, regulation or operational management. Maintain external accreditations and stay current on emerging regulation and industry best practices through professional development, conferences and special media. Education Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential); Relevant degree/diploma in Copywriting, Marketing Communication or Corporate Communication (Essential); Knowledge of web trends and technologies (Advantageous). Experience 5 or more years’ experience in copywriting, with at least 2 years in digital copywriting (Essential). Combination of corporate and agency experience (Advantageous). Experience in insurance industry (Advantageous).
