Trainee Technician

A well-established electronics manufacturing, import & distribution company specializing in the production and sales of process control instrumentation and calibration equipment for various industries requires a Trainee Technician for P1 and/or P2 training.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Studying towards National Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Basic computer skills required
- Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Active Learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools and products.
- Service Orientation - Actively looking for ways to help people.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Assemble and test units in manufacturing process
- Programme and calibrate units according to customer orders
- Fault finding for customer and stock repairs
- Product and customer support
- Customer site visit, installations, and commissioning
