**Minimum Requirements**:
Qualifications and Experience:

- A recognised teaching qualification in Foundation Phase.
- A minimum of 7 years of Foundation Phase teaching experience.
- Knowledge and experience of CAPS Curriculum (experience with Jolly Phonics and Afrikaans would be advantageous).
- An excellent command of the English language.
- Learning Support qualification and experience would be an advantage.
- Comprehensive computer literacy (Proficiency using the Google Platform would be advantageous).
- Inspirational teaching skills.
- Well-developed inter-personal and organisational skills.
- Willingness to be a team player.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
- Police Clearance and Child Protection Clearance Certificate required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons with emphasis on group teaching in Foundation Phase.
- Develop and implement curricula that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a classroom environment that emphasises inclusion, respect and a sense of security and belonging for all boys.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and sustain an inclusive school culture.
- Engage in continuous professional development focused on inclusive education practices and the requirements of WCED.
- Communicate effectively with boys, parents and staff to support development.
