Branch Manager

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership to all colleagues within the branch ensure that the highest quality of customer service is provided for all the delivery systems within the division; provide administrative support in areas of compliance, regulations, bank policies and procedures. The Branch Manager consults with the managers of Human resources, Finance and other Head Office functions in matters relating to job function.

- Financial Focus on managing Business Development, Profitability of Branch by ensuring efficiencies and Asset Management. Expenses are to be within budget, reported accurately and timeously. Ensure continuous development and understanding of relevant financial processes for yourself and team
- People Focus on empowering, developing, and motivating teams and individuals to perform at their best through training initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Compliance Focus to ensure that all regulatory measures are consistently applied, in terms of Health and Safety, Food safety, Audit standards and SAPCA (South African Pest Control Association) regulations.
- Company Values and Teamwork in accordance with the company’s values and required behaviors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Continuously evaluate branch performance and make necessary recommendations to improve performance
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Recommend cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining productivity and quality
- Develop new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals
- Ensure reporting and management accounts are accurate and correct.
- Ensure financial and sales targets are met weekly, monthly, and annually
- Develop and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency.
- Execute and Achieve sales Strategy
- Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Cultivate a performance-driven team, by motivating and supporting staff.
- Manage and supervise department employees
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
- Oversee all procedures and processes that are implemented and communicated effectively.
- Manage the recruiting, vetting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
- Ensure that all services have been completed in accordance with company standards.
- Address business inquiries from customers and team members in a professional manner.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Assist Sales Team by preparing presentations for prospective clients.
- Schedule meetings regularly to engage with your customer base to ensure service excellence.
- Build and maintain strong customer relations.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Provide support to the sales team.
- Grade 12.
- 3-year degree/ diploma in related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Pest Control and Hygiene Industry.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Cleaning or Service Industry.
- 3 -5 years’ experience in Branch Management.

**The successful Incumbent**:

- Must have a proven track record in adopting best practices, exceptional leadership skills, and able to exercise sound judgment in achieving company objectives.

**Sound knowledge in the following areas**:

- Asset Management.
- HR-related matters.
- Total Quality Management system.
- Financial Management (proven history of profit and loss management.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Operations and Service.
- Financial Management.

Relocation will be required if you are not residing in the mentioned location.
