Risk & Compliance Officer: Cybersecurity and Privacy

**Job Purpose**:
The person will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies and compliance programs that identify and mitigate against cybersecurity and data privacy related risks, ensuring that the business follows regulatory guidelines and maintains the reasonable and required standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage, define and implement strategies and measures to identify and mitigate internal and external risks on any cybersecurity and privacy issues affecting the business.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of identified business risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
- Handle the organisation's incident management processes, including response, reporting, and remediation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, IT or related field.
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or similar.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry with exposure in privacy laws and cybersecurity risk management.
- Strong knowledge of industry laws and regulations relating to cybersecurity and privacy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance issues tactfully.
- Analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
- Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management systems.
