Junior Technician

We are currently recruiting for a **Junior IT Support/installer Technician** to join our team based in Johannesburg.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Understanding Network protocols
- Networking knowledge is required (Fibre Routers, Wi-Fi Access Points)
- Helpdesk knowledge and experience dealing with users and understanding how to deliver clear and effective IT Support Services
- Wireless configuration, and management
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Software Installations
- Remote support and onsite support
- Hardware installation
- Provide 1st Line Support.
- Understanding User requirements Desktop / Laptop setup.
- Printing/Scanning support (IP Printing, shared network printing, local printers)
- Virus and Malware detection, prevention
- Office 365 Setup and configuration beneficial with good understanding of Microsoft products
- Update internal systems with all work carried out.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- Valid South African Driver’s License
- Own Transport
- Preferably CompTIA A+ & N+ - need desired qualification.
- Working knowledge of computer/laptop hardware and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of backup solutions and antivirus solutions

**Desired Work Experience**:

- 1 years or more Support experience.
- Microsoft Operating System Experience essential.
- Office 365 experience advantageous.

**Personal Skills and Attributes**:

- Good communication skills in English (writing and verbal important)
- Punctual
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Motivated and Presentable.

**Salary**: From R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Roodepoort, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
