Job Title: General Administrative Assistant (Work From Home + On-Site Flexibility)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our growing team. This is primarily a work-from-home position, but flexibility to occasionally come into the office will be required. If you're organized, friendly, and have strong admin experience—especially in the blinds, flooring, or a similar industry—you could be a great fit.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Previous experience using Xero (not essential but a big plus)
Friendly and accommodating personality
Excellent phone manners and professional etiquette
Proven ability to meet company goals and deadlines
Experience in or understanding of the blinds, flooring, or a similar industry (advantageous)
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices and keep Xero records up to date
Capture and track client details using Kanban boards for installations
Update and maintain management reporting spreadsheets
Liaise with clients to coordinate installation times and dates
Manage social media posts across various platforms
Research and identify potential leads for the sales team to contact
Prepare and send quotes to clients and sales reps
Desirable Extras:
Familiarity with CRM tools or Kanban project management systems
Previous work in a fast-paced, customer-facing admin role
Experience assisting with sales support or client communication
**Location**:
Work-from-home with occasional office visits (location to be confirmed)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From R6 000,00 per month
