The Faircape Group operates 6 luxury retirement/lifestyle villages in the Western Cape. Locations of these estates are in Noordhoek, Kirstenhof, Tokai, Somerset West and Onrus.

We are looking for compassionate and caring **Companions** to come and spend time with our residents at **Heritage Manor, Bridgewater Manor and Onrus Manor**

We are looking for companions to sign an SLA with us.

If you are looking to make a change and add value to our residents' lives, this is the opportunity for you.

We are looking for individuals that will be able to partake in the following activities:

- Weekly visits - having coffee/tea - at their home or a coffee shop
- Weekly visits for conversation
- Brain stimulation like playing board games, crosswords, puzzles and more
- Assisting with chair or light exercises / going for walks
- Music Reminiscence
- Driving to appointments, visits, social occasions.
- Running errands
- Pet therapy

Skills and Attributes:

- Caring, creative and conscientious
- Compassionate
- Patient and Empathetic
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and trustworthy

**Specific Requirements**:

- Clear criminal record
- Clear credit record
- Written references

The salary will depend on what your hourly rate is as well as what the resident is able to pay. The hours will depend on your availability as well as the residents.
