**Role Name**: Affiliate Account Manager

**Location**: Somerset Road, Green Point, Cape Town

**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 17:00pm

**Role summary**:To grow the company's brand exposure, increase customer acquisition through affiliate marketing channels, and ultimately drive revenue generation.

**Technical Knowledge / Competencies**
- **Affiliate Marketing in Betting**:Familiarity with affiliate marketing programs, tracking mechanisms, and performance analysis for driving customer acquisition through partnerships.
- **Betting Marketing Strategies**:Knowledge of marketing strategies specific to the sports betting industry, including customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty programs.
- **Industry Knowledge**:Strong understanding of the gaming and hospitality industry.
- **Compliance with Advertising and Marketing Regulations**: Understanding of advertising and marketing regulations specific to the iGaming industry, including responsible advertising practices and restrictions on targeting vulnerable individuals.

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- New business development - identify new affiliate partnership opportunities and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Communicate with affiliate partners and provide campaign performance recommendations.
- Nurture relationships with affiliate partners.
- Identify and reactivate dormant accounts in the affiliate network.
- Onboard new affiliate partners, provide account support and troubleshooting.
- Monthly reporting of affiliate activity.
- Monthly payment recons, requesting outstanding invoices from partners, submitting payments to the finance team.

**Requirements**:

- 2-4 years experience in Marketing of related field
- Knowledge of online advertising payment models such as CPC, CPM, CPA, Rev-Share.
- Online advertising / media buying experience
- Experience in nurturing business relationships with external partners
- Strong negotiating skills
- Experience in sales, acquisition, account management.
- Knowledge of affiliate program management
- Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets
- Keen interest in sports and sports betting.
