Education Public Relations Intern

**Main Purpose**:
The Education PR Intern works closely with the Education Specialist and the Marketing and PR Department. The intern will be responsible for assisting with marketing and publicity campaigns, events, as well as creating digital content to increase awareness, recruit new donors and retain existing youth donors.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Create digital marketing content like social media campaigns, blog post and digital promotions.
- Assist with the implementation of new and current educational programmes and campaigns.
- Educate the youth about blood donation through effective audio-visual presentations and digital platforms.
- Organising blood donation awareness exhibitions.
- Copywrite content for the youth newsletters, internal and external communication.
- Assist with training of youth peer promoters / blood donor ambassadors.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 3rd year student in Marketing or Public Relations.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Efficient in Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with people (especially youth)
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of copywriting and editing
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
