**Branch Manager**

**Position Overview**:
As the Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the branch's operations and achieving our annual sales targets. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets, ensuring smooth functioning across customer management, personnel management, warehouse operations, facility maintenance, purchasing, sales management, IT management, and financial oversight.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Management**:

- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by focusing on parts availability, quick delivery service, and regular visitation by representatives.
- Address account queries promptly and efficiently manage customer credits and claims.
- Foster strong customer relationships and communicate any concerns to the Managing Director.
- **Personnel Management**:

- Oversee the line management of branch staff, including attendance, leave management, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and disciplinary procedures.
- Identify personnel vacancies and coordinate recruitment efforts as needed.
- **Warehouse Management**:

- Optimize warehouse operations by maintaining the correct layout and organization of storage areas.
- Ensure efficient receipting and dispatch processes, adherence to store procedures, and effective management of inventory counts.
- **Facility and Asset Management**:

- Maintain the branch's physical condition, including exterior and interior appearance, electrical systems, displays, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as the maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- **Purchasing Management**:

- Supervise procurement activities, including supplier and inter-branch ordering, and follow up on back orders to ensure timely stock availability.
- **Sales Management**:

- Oversee sales activities, including product management, customer service, and support for sales representatives.
- Ensure sales targets are met through effective supervision of sales staff and coordination with the Sales Manager.
- **IT Management**:

- Address IT-related issues promptly by liaising with third-party service providers and escalating issues to head office if necessary.
- **Financial Management**:

- Supervise financial administrators and ensure compliance with budgetary targets and expense control measures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Previous experience in a managerial role within the automotive or related industry preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
