**Duties**:

- Provide an Asset Management function.
- Assist with the maintenance of Head Office Assets Register.
- .Verify and authorize Assets on the system.
- Conduct physical assets verification.
- Perform monthly spot checks and manage the movements of assets.
- Barcode and capture all assets additions on the system.
- Identify assets to be disposed.
- Perform asset reconciliation for the accounting of the Asset Management module.
- Perform the monthly reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register to General Ledger, the reconciliations of the depreciation from Trial balance to income statement.
- Assist in analyzing trial balance
- Supervision of stores activities.
- Review and update bin cards
- Conduct stores stocktaking.
- Reconcile Inventory module.
- Capture all store items on the system
- Provide advice on supply chain policies and procedures.
- Interpretation of policy.
- Applicability of conditions of policies.
- Technical advice to staff.
- Manage subordinates in the section
- Supervision/appraisals/disciplinary/Leave
- Training and development
- Planning and Organization
- Guidance and Mentoring
- Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, Part 3)

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years experience in Asset or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations on public entity and other regulations
- ERP Knowledge on Oracle or SAP or AccPacc or Accrual Accounting Compliant systems will be an added advantage.
- Computer Literate
- Valid Driver's Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R321,543.00 - R378,765.00 per year
