Advertising Specialist: Commercial

An exciting and challenging opportunity, based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, has just become available for an Advertising Specialist: Commercial within the Ackermans Marketing Team.

We are looking for a resilient, efficient, and influential individual who can add strategic value to our business by being responsible for the delivery and management of the Commercial Marketing strategy to support the Company’s marketing and communication objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- A Degree/National Diploma in Marketing/Communication or an equivalent qualification.
- Google Accredited Courses

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS required:

- A working knowledge of the media terminology and the understanding thereof Knowledge of digital industry, trends, tools and techniques and the integration thereof
- Marketing background
- Knowledge in advertising
- Excellent interpersonal, people management, team management & leadership skills
- Ability to evaluate research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed
- The ability to work independently, as well as be a team player
- Excellent time management skills

EXPERIENCE required:

- Essential:

- A minimum of 3 years’ relevant marketing experience gained in a marketing/ advertising/ agency environment.
- Preferred:

- Retail experience

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Execution of the Marketing operational plan (ATL, DM, PR, BTL, Digital)
- Compliance with CI, media specifications and budget
- Compiling, analysis and/or interpretation of:

- Compiling post campaign analysis
- Campaign administration and all relevant administration
- Input into Seasonal Brand review
- Competitions, budgets, engagement initiatives & new store openings
- Expense management
- Stakeholder management
