**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The purpose of the job is to provide the Seed department with precise quality reports on all incoming and outgoing potato seed as well as potato seed’s quality report during receiving, storage and production (grading, bagging and reworks).

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Adjust the production machine to achieve desired quality.
- Escalate to Seed store management all quality deviation seed store issues related but not limited to safety, task given etc.
- Advise the Seed store team members of practices to improve quality of potato seed on varies stages.
- Plan sampling.
- Report of all safety deviations & quality results per sample.
- Communicate with superintendent the progress of task given.
- Communicate with production lines on their quality results.
- Communicate with Seed store Management on all Quality results in different potato seed processing stages.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience in quality check and inspection of seed potato.
- Experience with spotting of potato diseases and defects.
- Computer literate in MS Excel.
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime when required.
