Operations (Maintenance)
**Requirements**:

- A relevant National Diploma
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant industry experience in

telecommunications broadband radio (licensed/unlicensed
band, radio cabling, etc.) repairs and maintenance
- Experience in leading a vendor or in-house telecoms

broadband radio repair teams would be an advantage
- Networking knowledge an added advantage
- Ability to work at heights
- A valid code B driver's licence.

Key Performance Areas
- Undertake and lead technical activities within the broadband

radio infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Provide quality supervision and control of maintenance and

repairs of the City's radio broadband network
- Ensure as-built information submitted accordingly for update;
ensure compliance with SOPs, policies and guidelines,
provide feedback to management
- Coordinate asset records management through on-site

capturing and regularly updating assets records/databases
of radio network
- Attend to queries from broadband asset team
- Design interpreting: review and interpret the drawings/plans

specifying changes in records or as-built information
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the radio broadband

infrastructure maintenance as well as contractors involved
in the supply and update of information in order to fulfil
delivery commitments of the section
- Provide support to project management and operations

management as required to ensure commitments are met
by City vendors
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
