**Role summary**

The Red Fox, an enterprising contributor in the sports betting industry, provides targeted marketing and operational support for two unique brands. With one brand enjoying established success and the other a burgeoning player in the sector, we are expanding our professional ensemble. We are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to ensure all our marketing initiatives and platform operations adhere to local gambling regulations and industry standards.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role within the betting/casino industry.
- Strong knowledge of KYC, KYB, AML procedures, and gambling regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to identify potential risks and fraudulent activities.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and maintain professional integrity.

**Daily Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all marketing campaigns comply with local gambling regulation laws and have been approved by the pertinent regulatory bodies.
- Oversee risk and fraud checks, liaising with the gambling board to secure approval for the platforms and any related changes.
- Review and verify customer details to confirm adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies and protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive customer due diligence, which includes verifying identification documents, assessing risk profiles, and conducting background checks such as bank and Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) checks.
- Spot any inconsistencies or warning signs in customer profiles, escalating suspicious activities for further investigation.
- Coordinate with prospective clients, partners, or relevant sales teams, requesting the necessary documentation or data to complete compliance checks.
- Maintain precise records of KYC documentation in compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Stay updated on any changes in gambling regulations and industry standards, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
