**Primary Purpose**

**Minimum Requirements**

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, CIMA/CA(SA)/CFA or similar
- Strong analytical foundation

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate with senior and non-technical stakeholders effectively and credibly.
- 5 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services Finance Business partnering and /or Financial Resources Management
- Experience in hedge accounting
- Experience with the delivery of high-priority projects and activities, under pressurized conditions
- Entrepreneurial and dynamic

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
- Solid understanding of Treasury management principles, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in using financial software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools for financial analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Treasury management systems and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to**

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Support the management of liquidity, interest rate, foreign currency, hedging and other balance sheet risks.
- Identify and implement revenue or cost saving opportunities and ensure adherence to budget.

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY
- A keen interest in supporting business development and contributing to the commercial success of our firm

OPERTIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Assess system cost and functionalities and recommend improvements

PEOPLE LEADERSHIP
- Provide project management leadership and supervise junior employees

DATA MANAGEMENT
- Use organizational data to derive insights for both the regulator and the business

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Administrative and Stakeholder Engagement

REPORTING
- Ensure timeous and insightful reporting to ALCO and the Regulators

LEARNING AND GROWTH
- Drive a continuous learning culture which focuses on innovation and value adding solutions in line with best practice.
