**Overall Responsibility**:
As the Mill Operator, you will be responsible for managing the operation and cleanliness of the milling room. You will ensure that all grains are milled in a timely manner to maintain efficiency.

**Focus Area 1**

**Packer**
- Responsible for milling all brews during the shift according to the brewing recipe.
- Maintain notes on recipe changes, adjustments, and additions.
- Follow recipes accurately and measure all stored and used grains precisely.
- Learn and proficiently perform testing and monitoring of the milling process using plansifter calculations.
- Adhere to sanitation standards, in accordance with policies, to ensure a clean and food safe working environment.
- Maintain all tools and equipment and cooperate with the maintenance department for large-scale maintenance tasks.
- Document various activities and inventories using either computer or paper systems.
- Communicate effectively with brewers and management staff.

**Focus Area 2**

**Health & Safety**
- Perform food safety and quality related activities as part of the FSMS and QC functions.

**Requirements of the Role**
- Matric Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience.
- Prior experience within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector will be advantageous.

**Preferred Skills/Competencies**:

- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Capable of working well with others.
- Able to perform under pressure.
- Willing to work after hours and on intermittent weekends.
- Committed to working in a team environment and contributing to group goals.
