A Multinational organisation within the FMCG Sector is currently on the hunt for a Procurement Specialist - Indirect, our client is looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join their dynamic team.

Our key responsibilities:

- Provide periodic reporting for management on purchasing, controls, and processes.
- Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential and improvement opportunities.
- Advise senior management on improved procurement processes, management of company assets and replacement strategies.
- Lead procurement projects to tender for goods and/or services in own area of responsibility.
- Supplier selection based on requirements defined by the corresponding functional owners.
- Market analysis, non-disclosure agreements, requests for information and requests for quotations.
- Commercial negotiation, supplier selection, contract preparation and signing and implementation vendor management.
- Implementation of Procurement Strategy and Policies.
- Risk Management.
- BBBEE Strategy implementation.
- Capex project analyses, supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, spend analyses.
- Strong focus on indirect spend and most especially on engineering spend.
- Procuring spare parts locally and internationally.

Our required expertise:

- Relevant Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain / Procurement
- Industry knowledge within FMCG Food and Engineering industries
- 3 + years operational experience in supply chain /procurement environment
- Capex projects experience
- International procurement experience

Your reward:

- R 400 000 - R 500 000 per annum
