**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Social Djevelopment, Western Cape Government (WCG) has an exciting employment opportunity for a suitable individual who would like to make a difference to provide and manage supply chain management services for the Department. This post is stationed in Cape Town, CBD.
**Minimum Requirements**:
An appropriate 3-year B-degree/ Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) or higher qualification as recognised by SAQA in Supply Chain Management/ Financial Management; A minimum of 6 years Middle Management level experience in a supply chain management or related environment; A valid driving licence; Completion of Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) upon appointment.

Key Performance Areas**:
Establish and maintain a Supply Chain Management andAsset Management System; Ensure the development and implementation of the Supply Chain Management strategies, policies, systems, practices and procedures for governance, demand, training and development, risks and performance management service; Oversee the rendering of a service with regard to acquisition, contract and logistics management; Create and maintain electronic systems, tools, services and support for the execution of the system; Strategic Management; Change Management; People Management; Efficient and effective management of all financial resources/ aspects and all performance requirements as related to the PFMA and corporate governance; Management of resources to achieve pre-determined indicators and service delivery imperatives; Sound labour relations.

**Remuneration**:
All-inclusive salary package of R 1 057 326 per annum (salary level 13).
Note: The remuneration package consists of a basic salary (70%) and the employer’s contribution to the Pension Fund. The remainder of the package may be structured according to your personal needs.
