**Minimum Requirements**:

- Matric/Grade 12 (or technical equivalent)
- CAT II ISO certification
- Trade test (Mechanical and Electrical) and/or National Diploma (Mechanical and Electrical)
- Three years experience in condition monitoring
- Three years site maintenance experience
- Certification in the following:

- Balancing
- IR Level 1
- Oil analysis Level 1
- Alignment
- Drivers License (Code EB) or better

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
- Using technical data to make informed recommendations to client

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Condition Monitoring Technician will be responsible for Condition Monitoring data collection on rotating equipment, analysis of data, reporting of defects, recommendations of corrective actions based on: Alignment, Balancing, IR scan of electrical panels and rotating equipment. Oil analysis reporting and recommendations.

In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for establishing a new customer base and for the creation and maintenance of sustainable customer relationships.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Achieve company, department, and customer KPI’s
- World class data collection and reporting
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers
- Annual, monthly, weekly reporting to management
- Engage with all condition monitoring areas and focus on direct sales opportunities
- Perform condition monitoring service activities as and when required to enhance service offering to customer
- Engage with all business support infrastructures to resolve queries
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement and safety awareness
- Successful incumbent will be required to travel between Stormill, Gauteng and Client Sites in the Northern Cape every two weeks, attending to customer requirements in both locations.
