Job Description
You’ll be working collaboratively with the Head of Product, your immediate stakeholder group and close to your customers. You will act as the interface between the business stakeholders and your squads. You will have a deep understanding of the customer, market, product and commercial opportunities and translate these into objectives, framed initiatives and user stories to set the direction for the squad. You will be responsible for the product and features, end-to-end; from setting direction, through discovery, delivery and subsequent iterations.
**What will I have to do?**
- Demonstrate leadership within a positive, open-feedback team culture and environment to boost engagement, ownership, and accountability
- Encourage a customer centric culture of innovation focused on adding customer and business value to our game products
- Conduct market research with a finger on the pulse of the online casino games and slot market
- Collaborate with the Head of Product to define the product vision, strategy, roadmaps and identify growth opportunities
- Work alongside department Heads to shape and agree the roadmap
- Work with commercial owners and the product development squads to determine the business value of proposed product initiatives and maintain business case
- Be capable of understanding and balancing commercial viability, customer satisfaction and technical feasibility
- Ensure the compliance of responsible gaming protocols and obtains required certifications
- Be accountable for the timely availability of user stories, ensuring the squad can develop software as efficiently as possible
- Be accountable for timely management of third-party suppliers to provide clear requirements and liaison for the development projects
- Manage squad product backlogs to drive products forward by planning, communicating and executing according to discovery findings and the roadmap
- Work with other product owners to identify, manage and remove dependencies
- Produce release plans and communications, run show and tells, and training on product features to relevant teams
- Where appropriate, co-ordinate with 3rd party suppliers for content and technology;
- Consistently communicate with stakeholders and keep them informed of the delivery progress
- Work extensively with your squad of engineers and designers to continuously improve your product
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a producer, product owner or other product management experience
- Previous experience and good understanding of lean and agile product development
- Have contributed to the development, release and/or service operations of at least one game or live digital product
- Proven experience with methods to understand and champion customers improving the customer experiences
- Demonstrated analytical and data-informed decision making
- Familiarity with mobile releases
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience from communicating with senior stakeholders as well as multi-disciplinary development teams
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach to your work
- Ability to see the 'big picture,' evaluate the business impact of issues and prioritise various requests
- Ability to work in a fast-changing and fast-paced working environment and collaborate with multiple squads
