Raw Material Controller

The role is responsible for the end-to-end process of raw materials on-site.

**REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING**
- Grade 12
- A relevant tertiary qualification

**REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar position and industry
- Raw material stock control and stock management experience
- Animal Feed Manufacturing will be an added advantage

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
- Maintain FIFO
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials to production
- Managing stock lead days within set parameters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Timeously resolve supplier complaints
- Limit stock losses to a minimum and explain stock deviations
- Ensure timeous and accurate reporting
- Conduct effective and regular stock takes
- Maintain internal controls and procedures and ensure compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timeous planning and recording of stock and capturing of all stock intakes accurately (GRVs)
- Ensure timeous reporting of stock claims
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Production Manager
- Adhere to all safety regulation policies, procedures and notices and ensures monthly health and safety reports are done
- Obtain V-number and MSD (Safety Data Sheet) for raw materials before a request is sent to Master Data for loading.
- Ensure that allocated work is clean and complete cleaning register

**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES**
- Strong administration and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, SAP and Outlook as a minimum)
- High level of personal and professional integrity
- Ability to multi-skill
- Proficiency in English and one other official language
- Numerical acumen and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stress
