First Line Support Technician and Fibre Planner

A Company in the Telecommunication sector is looking for a qualified First Line Support Technician to be part of their technical team based in Randburg Gauteng. The First Line Support Technician will serve as a point of contact for customers with technical issues on our fibre solutions plus conduct surveys as and when required for FTTH and FTTB.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Allocating Support Calls on Internal system
- Assisting Customers with First Line Support Issues
- Assisting Installers with Installations (Remote Support)
- Escalating Calls to Second Line Support or Vendor
- Data Usage Reports
- Maintain and update call logging procedures
- Stay up to date with new solutions and products

Desired Experience & Qualification
- Experience:

- Proven work experience as a First Line Support Technician or Helpdesk Support Technician
- Minimum 1 year working experience in similar role.
- Must have a knowledge of networking and wireless technologies
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite
- Certification in A+ N+ or relevant field (advantageous)

- Layer 2 and 3 Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R5,000.00 - R10,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

- Fibre: 1 year (preferred)
- Technical support: 1 year (preferred)
