Ensure all environment permits for operations are in place and renew before expiry
- Communicate with Env regulatory authorities, coordinate monitoring and submit annual returns to DFFE / govt authority
- Coordinate Environmental Legal audits, survey and ensure compliance.
- Environmental issue investigation and resolution- Conduct routine internal audits and inspection and log findings on CCAR- Introduce and drive new initiatives in terms of environment in the plant- Regular internal communication at all levels by way of daily morning meetings and cadences- Verify all High Potential environmental incidents and verify corrective actions implemented- Update monthly shop / plant score cards- Daily, Weekly and Monthly Statistics Updates- Drive FPS Program through EOS enforcement, process confirmation and performance board updates- Ensure daily focus on Environmental with relevant checklists and safety walks- Update chemical registers and assist with industrial hygiene and tox concerns- Maintain Environmental Management System requirements of EOS through completion of EOS-EMS tasks
- Minimum National diploma in Env Management is preferable- Know and have a passion for our business and our customers- Have a continuous improvement in philosophy and practice- Build strong relationships/be a team player/develop ourselves & others- Show initiative, courage, integrity and good corporate citizenship- Improve quality of work, safety and sustainability- Have a can do, find a way attitude and emotional resilience- Hold ourselves and others responsible and accountable for delivering results and satisfying our customers
