Pool Academy Aquatics is an International Aquatics Club based in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, India and the United Kingdom. We have over 10 000+ swimmers passing through our doors each year.

Pool Academy Aquatics is looking to fill the above mentioned position to start immediately and to be based in Chatsworth, Durban. If you are looking to make a career in Marketing, this might be the right job for you.

We’re looking for someone who is on their A-game with social, can spot upcoming trends, is able to identify sports news on all social platforms and support live events, posting in real-time. We need someone who can harness and exponentially increase this awesomeness.

**Your responsibilities will be**:
**Strategy**:

- Identify and understand how sports fans consume and engage with content to drive traffic and gain engagement. You will take part in the definition of the strategy and execution processes.
- Work with the team to develop creative and engaging content ideas.
- Know how to use and get the best out of social platforms native functions and think outside the box with how native platform features can be used to drive engagement.

**Relationships**:

- Building and developing one-on-one relationships on social, beyond answering inquiries and dealing with crisis’ within community management.
- You will be attending events alongside the Sports team liaising with the client, fans and players; so you will need to build strong relationships with clients while taking a real interest in the industry and reporting back social media KPI metrics to improve.

**Execution**:

- Write weekly content calendars for social pages whilst identifying the tone, look and feel of the social accounts.
- Take care of social publishing and community management.
- Report back on KPIs to maximise the impact for the company.
- Develop content concepts and brief the creative teams on these.
- Support live coverage at events; this may be regionally or international.

**You must have**:

- Passion to stay on top of sports/ swimming/ aquatics news, deep research and understanding how sports fans consume content.
- A basic understanding of social media metrics to supervise client KPI’s.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to deliver outstanding social content that make the nuances of emerging technology digestible to a broad range of demographics within the sporting sector.
- A proactive and self-motivated personality that strives for excellence.
- A good working knowledge of web analytics, Photoshop/Illustrator, Canva and HTML/CSS
- Manage social media accounts and day-to-day activities. Create, and manage all published content (images, video and written)
- Create and manage paid ad campaigns on Social - knowledge in Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn ads are **mandatory (YouTube and TikTok are a plus)**

**Remuneration**:

- Salary R6000 per month
- Incentive/ Performance Bonus Packages range from R1250 per month to R3000 per month (**must be able to achieve targets given to be awarded with Incentives/ Bonuses**)
- Office location: Umhlatuzana, Chatsworth, Durban

Pay: R6 000,00 - R7 250,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
