We are looking of a security officer to guard our Business Centre in Oxford Street (East London).

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Patrol the area for any safety or security risks.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within.
- Respond to reported incidents as necessary..
- Report any suspicious activities to management.
- Check client slips for items purchased to avoid theft.
- General security checks within the premises is an obligation to ensure the safety of staff, clients, management and the business premises as a whole.

**Requirements**:

- National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a security officer.
- Relevant license and training.
- Clear criminal record.
- Strong commitment to the well-being of others.
- Excellent decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently, particularly when under duress.
- Neat, professional appearance.
- Capacity to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work morning, evening, and night shifts.

License/Certification:

- PSIRA Certificate (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
