The manufacturing plant in Port Elizabeth produces both small and large volume parenterals. - We are recruiting an Industrial Engineering Intern who will training in the following aspects during the internship:_ - Good manufacturing practices training and orientation - Process familiarization - Standardization of Change over times using SMED - Visual Performance management and 5S best practise - Time studies - Machine capability studies - OEE calculation and reporting - Material Usage variance study - Data analysis using pareto principle - Exposed to Fishborne problem solving tool - Staticalical Analysis and plotting of P’ Charts - Normal distribution curves and Central limit theorem - Lean manufacturing practices - Introduction to statistics using Microsoft Excel and Minitab - Method studies of collecting Data. **Requirements**: - Industrial Engineering Graduate - Microsoft Office Experience(Microsoft Excel Intermediate/Advanced level) - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations. - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. - Ability to meet deadlines & attention to detail - Goal & result orientation - Problem-solving - Continuous improvement - Assertiveness
