My client in the boating and marine industry is seeking to employ a Parts Sales Consultant in the Helderberg Area.

Requirements and competencies:

- Own Transport and valid drivers license
- Someone who really wants to be further trained in this type of position, the client are Yamaha agents, so the person will be specifically trained to sell Yamaha parts
- An honest person with a strong but friendly personality
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to handle a highly pressurised and busy environment
- Knowledge of parts sales will be an advantage
- Previous sales experience is a MUST
- It is important that instructions that are passed on from management are given first priority.
- Be able to handle petty cash and knows how to work with money
- Person must be able to work independently
- The job involves the person being at the workshop every day of the week - Ideally someone who has no other obligations that cause him to go out regularly or come later or leave earlier. Punctuality is very important

Duties and responsibilities:

- Selling of boating and marine equipment and parts (Yamaha specifically)
- Maintain customer service
- Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Record all sales / or customer transactions
- Maintain the retail sale floor and displays
- Promoting, advertising and stocking of parts

Working hours:
Weekdays: 08:00-17:00 (winter times) and 08:00-17:30 (summer times)

Saturdays: 08:30-13:00 (winter times) and 08:00-13:00 (summer times) (Every 2nd Saturday)

Basic salary of R10 000 to R15 000, plus commission will be offered (depending on experience)
