Table View, South Africa Express Holdings Full time

An expanding holdings company is looking for a Business Development Manager/Executive to join our diverse team We specialize in skilled-trade services, like compliance certificates (COC's), electrical, plumbing, gas, pest control, etc services.

Our offices are based in Table View and we currently service the larger part of Cape Town and surrounds.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (not a requirement, but will receive preference)
- Proven track record in sales and business development
- 2+ years work experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Google Workspace/Office and CRM software
- Positive attitude and a results-driven approach
- Ability to travel as needed
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be neat and presentable

*Applicants with experience in sales and/or marketing, or any skilled-trade industry, will receive preference.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and target new business opportunities and potential clients
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Conduct market research and analyze data to understand industry trends and competition
- Prepare and present proposals and sales pitches to potential clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and successful sales processes
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Attend networking events and conferences to promote the company
- Provide regular reports on sales progress and market insights
