**Role Purpose**
- To assist with the underwriting audit process on outsource, broker binder business partners and UMA’s.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 (Matric)
- FAIS - Completed RE5 Certificate and Credits (60 credits)
- Possessing an insurance-related qualification is advantageous
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in underwriting oversight and audit management
- A comprehensive understanding of non-life short term insurance
- Commercial Lines insurance experience
- A comprehensive knowledge of non-life short-term insurance underwriting processes and associated complexities
- Proven track record of underwriting experience e.g., assessing exposure, understanding risk reports, underwriting levels and risk rating
- Problem solving skills
- Must be able to work in Word and Excel
- General office administration knowledge
- Must be able to handle pressurized environments
- Requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy
- Basic system operating knowledge essential

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide consistent monitoring and evaluation of outsource business, broker binder business and UMA’s portfolio’s
- Fundamental proficiency in system operations is essential
- Provide support to all GGI internal stakeholder where required
- Maintaining and building relationships with Outsource and Broker Binder Business Partners
- Conduct Due Diligence reviews on new partners
- Compiling, tracking and management of audit findings
- Recommend and guide the implementation of appropriate measures in line with all audit findings
- Advise on and support the implementation of appropriate underwriting measures in response to audit findings
- Take appropriate underwriting measures in response to audit findings
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with all key stakeholders
- Stakeholder engagements within various internal and external divisions and partners
- Must be capable of working independently
