The development of a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
- The tracking and controlling of the construction schedule and associated costs to achieve the completion of the projects within time and allocated budgets.
- To ensure that all onsite and offsite constructions comply with building and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing Health, Safety and Environmental programs on site.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors - experience in working in the Western Cape area is crucial.
- Analyse, manage, mitigate and escalate any risks that may occur.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Manage the procurement process for the project.
- Ensure timely communication of project status and issues, and maintain technical and administrative control for projects.

Minimum requirements:

- Minimum of a National Diploma in Construction or related tertiary qualification.
- Project management qualification highly advantageous and 5+ year’s project coordination. experience within a construction of high-end housing project environment in the Western Cape.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
