We are on the lookout for a visionary **Marketing Executive** who thrives in the fast-paced world of fashion retail and knows how to blend artistry with strategy. This role is responsible for leading the visual merchandising, digital online and marketing events functions for Spitz retail and product brands, which involves the development and implementation of strategies to advance store and product brand portfolio objectives by increasing brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
**Key Performance Areas**:
- Translate Spitz Group store and product brand portfolio objectives into visual merchandising and digital online strategies and plans
- Facilitate the development and management of a healthy, balanced and robust portfolio of brands through leading marketing strategies and activities to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales within the Spitz Group
- Build and develop a visual marketing and digital online team which is creative, commercially astute, competent, dedicated and efficient
- Develop and oversee the execution of digital marketing, advertising, events and promotional activity from inception to completion across social media and other channels for Spitz, Kurt Geiger, Green Cross and GX.
- Lead the development of a consumer-centric culture through consumer insights to ensure brand relevance
- Lead team to ensure effective management of media campaigns and social media including content calendars, content audits and research, trend analysis, consumer behaviour, keywords, and topics relevant to the industry and audience
- Lead team to ensure effective monitoring and analysis of content performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal results
- Engagement with the merchandise/planning and visual merchandise team to ensure alignment in messaging and content across all channels
- Manage social media content creation to ensure the development of engaging multimedia content (blogs, social media posts, videos, infographics) for various platforms, ensuring high quality visual content for publication across online or digital platforms, aligning with the brands’ voice and objectives
- Identify, contract and measure ROI and impact of influencers and brand ambassadors who align with our brand values and target audience, managing influencer content to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and campaign objectives
- Provide support and direction for the marketing budget, reviewing project financials and determining financial contributions from brand marketing initiatives
The environment is fast-paced, creatively-driven, and deadline oriented and requires the incumbent to innovate, to create new processes when warranted, and to make decisions quickly and effectively.
**Experience**:
- 10+ years marketing experience of which a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Executive in a Fashion Retail environment with product and retail exposure
- Extensive demonstrated competence in social media management and digital marketing
- Demonstrated success in leading a team
- Project management
**Qualifications**:
- Commerce degree in Marketing or Business Management
- Post graduate qualification in Marketing is preferable
