**SHOWROOM CONSULTANT**

**INTRODUCTION**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Showroom Consultant, with a leading supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper and homeware for both local and international markets. The position is based in Brooklyn,Pretoria.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- National Senior Certificate
- Certificate or Diploma in Interior Decorating or related field
- At least 3 years sales experience in an Interior Decorating or related environment
- Experience of coordinating the operational aspects of a shop or outlet is an advantage
- Own reliable transport
- Good telephone etiquette
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Good presentation skills
- Good with building and maintaining customer relationships
- Excellent customer service and after sales service
- Good with selling products and concepts
- Professional with good business etiquette
- Be assertive with drive and ambition
- Be decisive and able to prioritize
- Be determined
- Able to cope with stress
- Good with time management and activity planning
- Able to take action, initiative and follow through
- Creativity and innovative thinking

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain showroom operations and image by maintaining the set showroom standards, coordinating deliveries, manage stock of cuttings, sample hangers and books etc.
- Meet showroom sales targets and deliver customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
- Advise and sell to customers in the showroom (including customers of sales consultants)
- Build productive relationships with customers and industry
- Support sales consultants
- Team focus
