Summary

The Digital Marketing Manager oversees the digital marketing strategy for the Hyatt hotels in South Africa, as well as the execution of initiatives.

The scope of the role includes driving e-commerce initiatives and paid media for non-rooms business across the following channels: paid search, display/programmatic advertising, and paid social; for rooms business this also includes paid meta, sponsored placements and other advertising formats outside the Google eco-system.

You will be working closely with hotel commercial teams to understand the business needs and market conditions, and to align the digital marketing tactics with the overall hotel business strategy.

Additionally, we focus on activities that drive increased visibility, grow awareness, capture demand and generate loyalty/preference share.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within the hospitality or travel industry.
- Agency experience would be an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving attitude.
- Superior presentation and written communication skills.
- Familiar with analytics platforms, such as Adobe Omniture or Google Analytics. Able to interpret data and derive insights from these.
- Experience in execution of paid social campaigns (Facebook Business Manager).
- Knowledgeable of digital marketing trends and tools.
- Superior Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Agency Management skills and eye for creative detail
