Your key **job** responsibilities as the **Chief Financial Officer (Payments)** in **Cape Town** will include:

- Lead and develop the financial team by being a culture champion and driving excellence within the finance team and across the company
- Lead all financial functions for business planning, budgeting and forecasting, accounting and reporting, working capital optimisation, treasury management
- Ensure their commercial development and decision making are supported by accurate commercial performance analysis
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organisation’s operations, including optimisation of their liquidity for payment partners to support transactions as well as needs on the normal business side
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting including operational efficiency KPIs
- Drive automation of key processes and work with their system and tech teams to champion internal efficiencies within the financial functions and across the business
- Ensure optimal and compliant group and intra-company structures especially regarding intra-company pricing and tax
- Support on investment strategies and on organisation’s fundraising plans and capital structure by ensuring our business plans and KPIs are robust
- Have a massive impact and have a lot of fun

Requirements for this **Chief Financial Officer (Payments) job** in **Cape Town**:

- Experience in leading and growing the financial aspects of a business
- Must have FinTech or Payments experience
- Must be entrepreneurial, forward thinking, and dynamic
- Understand growth metrics, fast growth and scalability
- You’re obsessed with financial performance, including operational efficiency and also passionate about building teams and people success
- Experience in implementing finance and accounting procedures for a group of companies covering multiple jurisdictions
- Must have a good understanding of International tax regimes and can oversee their compliance in relation to Payroll, VAT, Income tax, etc.
- Exceptional communication skills, managerial skills and a very strong growth mindset
- You’re kind, believe in collaboration and respect, and you’re keen on joining something bigger than you to make it even bigger
- Strong interest in social impact and how to uplift people
