**Purpose of the job**: Responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and functioning of all infrastructure at the Bakery, providing technical support, Maintenance of asset management and must be well versed in Audits (safety, food safety and stock control) and electrically strong.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support / Troubleshooting
- Ensure Plant and systems upgrade / Energy management
- Maintenance of asset management / Maintenance planning
- Adherence to Cost Control (Budgeting)
- Performance management/Staff management/Industrial Relations
- Weekly maintenance and breakdowns
- Job cards / Maintenance system
- Asset/stock management and control
- Audits (safety, food safety and stock control)
- On the job training / mentoring
- Timesheets

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Matric
- Relevant Trade qualification
- Registered Artisan (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal)

**Experience Requirements**:

- 5-7 years in relevant trade e.g. electrician, millwright

- Factory environment - hot and noisy
