Workshop Foreman - Trailer RepairBased On-Site in Akasia, PretoriaR30,000 to R40,000 CTCMining Medical RequiredA leading logistics group is looking for a skilled, hands-on Workshop Foreman to run trailer repairs and maintenance for its fleet of tautliner and tipper trailers.This is not a truck repair role. All trucks are under full maintenance contracts but you will use your diesel mechanic knowledge to accurately report faults when needed. Your focus is trailers only supervising repairs, managing the workshop, and ensuring uptime.Duties:Lead daily operations in the trailer workshop and wash bayOversee trailer repairs (tautliners and tippers), ensuring all work is up to standardAllocate tasks, manage schedules, and supervise workshop and wash bay staffMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environmentAccurately report truck faults using diesel mechanical understandingKeep job cards and repair records up to dateEnforce safety compliance across all activitiesRequirements:Diesel Mechanic qualification (Red Seal or equivalent)Minimum 2 years' experience working on tautliner and tipper trailersPrior team supervision or workshop leadership experienceMedically fit and compliant for mining standardsWilling to work weekdays (07:0017:00) and some weekendsWhats On Offer:Competitive salary: R30,000 to R40,000 per month (Cost to Company)Discretionary 13th chequeStable, long-term opportunity in a structured, well-run businessRole with clear responsibility, team leadership, and room to take ownershipThis role suits someone who thrives in a workshop, takes pride in their work, and wants to lead a team that keeps trailers road-ready and safe.If that sounds like you apply today.
