- Develop and maintain working relationships, networks and partnerships that help achieve business goals
- Control expenses by actively monitoring waste within your control.
- Ensure best control of costs and transit at all times on all routes
- Provide positive solutions to all problematic situations
- Find innovative ways of reducing errors and omissions
- Understand and exceed client's expectations and requirements
- Provide innovative, effective solutions to client's needs
- Ability to foresee problems arising and provide alternatives and solutions proactively
- Accountable for on time billing to clients
- Managing clients KPIs / performance on a monthly basis and productivity of own desk
- Making special arrangements / involving the right level of individual to support on critical shipments.
- Resolving client and routine queries professionally and timorously
- Managing costs effectively and carefully.
- Invoicing out shipment timeously and correctly.
- Tracking shipments from collection to collection and arrival.
- Overtime when applicable
- Team player: provide full support to the team and manager

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Self-motivated and deadline driven
- Matric (essential)
- Qualification in Logistics an added advantage
- Min 3-year experience in freight forwarding.
- Take ownership of queries
- Well-presented and professionally dressed
- Requires time management
- Driving and enforcing company policies
- Managing own Performance
- Able to work under pressure
- Communicate effectively with local colleagues and clients
- Team player with positive attitude
- Process Driven
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
