**Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contact debtors to collect outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with debtors.
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities and payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving payment issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate billing.
- Utilize debt collection software or systems to track and manage collections.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Education**: Matric Certificate or equivalent; a post-secondary qualification in finance or a related field is an advantage.
- **Experience**: At least 1 year of experience in debt collection or customer service, preferably within an educational or financial services environment.
- **Skills**: Strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- **Attributes**: High level of integrity, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- **Additional**: Familiarity with debt collection software or systems is a plus.

**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: R6 000,00 - R6 500,00 per month
