MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
2 - 4 years work experience in consulting or a similar role;
Qualifications/Certificates relevant to the job specifications would be advantageous;
Own a motor vehicle and have a valid drivers license;
Provide a minimum of 3 references.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE AREAS**:

- Asset Management;
- Municipal Budget Preparation and Long-Term Financial Planning;
- Financial Management, Accounting and Reporting;
- Revenue and Expenditure Management;
- Municipal Supply Chain Management;
- GRAP Implementation and Preparation of the Annual Financial Statements;
- mSCOA Implementation and Management; and
- General MFMA Implementation and Compliance.
- Preparations of reports and presentations;
- Manage and maintain compliance documents as required;
- Analyse and provide input on improving Akhile systems;
- Support the development team with specification and scoping documents to facilitate software and system development;
- Know and understand key personnel (both external and internal) and understand the organisations vision, values, aims and objectives;
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks from time-to-time; and
- Any other relevant tasks.

- GRAP.

SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams);
Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written);
Excellent time management, prioritisation and communication skills (well organised);
Be accurate, systematic and display attention to detail;
Take initiative and have problem solving skills;
Be trustworthy and honest; and

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
