**Purpose of the Job**:
**What you’ll have done before**:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in within Oil &Gas OR other relevant industries
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing technical advice for technology, machinery & equipment
- Experience in Managing Others
- NQF Level 7 (Degree: Engineering/ Science or other related fields)

Advantageous
- Preferred 5 years’ experience in a Lubricants environment
- Preferred experience in customer facing and technical advisory environment

**What you’ll be doing**:
**PRODUCT OPTIMIZATION**
Optimize product line formulations through focus on leverage from PLI R&T and COGS reduction to ensure achievement of business objectives and targets, ensure alignment with external market

**PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT**
Support product development through collaboration with PLI R&T on understanding customer base needs to create and maintain sustainable Lubricant’s business and to ensure alignment with market changes and to meet global technological advances and requirements

**TECHNICAL SUPPORT**
Provide field technical support, training, and solutions to customer base through partnering and understanding their needs to create and maintain sustainable Lubricants Business for Engen

**TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE**
Development and management of Lubricants pipeline of technical expertise to ensure availability of capable resources at all times and to maintain sustainability throughout Lubricants Business

**DATABASE MAINTENANCE**
Maintain Lubricants Technical Database through development, implementation and availability of proper and relevant systems and measures to ensure reporting and information access to customers and Lubricants Business
