**Job description**

A controller assists the dispatcher to ensure the daily operational plan is implemented with a key focus on ensuring on time departures.

You must monitor the transportation to ensure organizational objectives are met as instructed by management. You will monitor and assist the dispatcher in managing the detailed transport activities, employee schedules and proactively address scenarios in which there is a delay.

In addition, you must often serve as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints with the Supervisor/ Transport Manager. To help you, all our buses are fitted with live tracking which reports every second.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

MIS Device management

a. Charging devices

b. Checking that work has updated to device

c. Issuing devices to drivers
- Ensure on time departures and directing associates to vehicles
- Recording all departures on the drop off list
- Verifying drop off times from driver with MIS
- Going to other sites to load associates
- Vehicle audits and compliance checks
- Calling associates to advise of driver arrival
- Act where necessary to improve customer experience and support drivers in doing so
- Handle professionally incoming telephone calls from customers, drivers, and operators
- Liaise with drivers and sub-contractors on operational matters, routes and requests
- Keep the Transport Manager informed of the state of operations
- Keep excellent records of operations activity and monitor driver dress code, time keeping, and fatigue.
- Report any instance of adverse customer service
- Any other task the company may reasonably ask you to undertake
- Identify operational training needs
- Support drivers in the event of an accident to comply with company procedures
- Ensure timeous reporting to management and client

- Instructing drivers authoritatively

**MIN REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous experience relevant to the post and professionalism
- Understanding of the Amazon Service
