Technical Sales Representative

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Technical Sales Representative is to retain existing clients and key customers, manage their expectations and oversee that their needs are met in a timely manner in order to achieve designated sales targets in addition to looking for more NEW business opportunities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- National Diploma or Degree in Marketing / Sales, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years experience in a technical sales field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Technical knowledge in DC products, inverters/batteries and rectifiers is required or Telecom Products.
- Must be in possession of Own Transport and a valid Drivers Licence
- Proven sales successes and retention ability.
DUTIES:
- Establish and maintain a professional, solid, trusting relationship with clients.
- Coordinate with various departments so that customer’s expectations are met.
- Develop an understanding of a client’s needs and business objectives.
- Develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction, improvements, and retention.
- Negotiating contracts with the client and establish a timeline of performance.
- Resolve issues and complaints.
- Manage communications between clients and internal teams.
- Meet and exceed financial and sales targets and growth objectives.
- Establish and oversee internal budgets within the business and external budgets with the clients.
- Manage a clients’ projects from beginning to end.
- Take a client’s requirements and assist with plans to meet those requirements.
- Plan and present reports on clients account progress.

- Support other team members / departments dedicated to the same clients to ensure high quality results.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day management.
- Keep abreast of new products, market conditions, advertising, and promotional trends.
- Perform any other tasks, not specified herein, which may from time to time be requested by management.
- Have a good understanding of the business products and services and be able to advise others.
- Think and work strategically
- Obtaining organisational chart of clients to know decision makers

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
