To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and ambitious
Travel Co-Ordinator to join our Cape Town office. This role, primarily within the operations team, will work closely with the travel experts both pre and post-sale. This is a fantastic opportunity for a travel professional with opportunities for growth within a leading luxury tour operator at its next pivotal stage of development.

The successful individual will have a demonstrable passion for travel, with at least 2 years’ experience in the tour operating industry. Good organisation skills, attention to detail and high levels of customer service are also essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Travel Expert team in all administrative duties pre and post-sale.
- Creation of high quality digital travel itineraries
- Coordinate with Travel Experts and suppliers on confirmation of reservations
- Confirm reservations and supply clients with high quality & relevant supporting information and advice
- Review associated payments from clients and confirm reservations with suppliers
- Manage client questions directly post confirmation stage whilst continuing with their

Mahlatini journey
- Make flight reservations
- Assist/make ancillary bookings
- Pro-actively identify revenue generating opportunities within existing bookings
- Engender good working relationship with colleagues and trade partners; whilst keeping the client at the forefront of the process

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL
- 2 years experience in a tailor-made travel environment
- Excellent communicator with meticulous eye for detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
- Advanced levels of IT literacy
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Results-orientated and can work to deadlines

DESIRED
- In depth knowledge/experience of Sub-Saharan Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands or UAE
- GDS / flight operating systems
- Experience working with complex Southern Africa and East African itineraries (multi destination Safari)
