7th Sense Travel is a Destination Management Company (DMC) based in South Africa specializing in responsible tourism since 2007. We organize incentive trips, seminar and events , as well as immersive trips, tailor-made holidays, learning journey in Southern Africa. Our programs focus on authentic experiences and community development projects, making each trip a unique adventure.

About the job

We are looking for a dynamic, curious and versatile project manager with tour operator and/or DMC and events background. Strong destination knowledge and travel experience within southern Africa is necessary. If you have good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and you are passionate about sharing insights to our fabulous destination , please send us your CV.

Responsibilities

  • TO DESIGN: Create tailor-made itineraries and immersive journeys for leisure & corporate travelers, special interest groups and universities. Build detailed quotations and sales presentations.
  • TO PRODUCE: Procurement and sourcing of suitable suppliers, experts and host personalities for themed journeys. Supplier negotiation and coordination. Timeline and project management. Client relationship management. Financial management and reporting.
  • TO COORDINATE: onsite coordination and delivery of tour programmes and travel events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 to7 years' experience in the travel/ event industry
  • Excellent sales ability required, good knowledge of the destinations
  • To be able to work under pressure (short deadlines)
  • Excellent computer literacy (excel/ word/outlook/internet)
  • Perfect use of written and spoken English (and French would be a plus)
