We are looking for an ambitious and talented digital copywriter to join our team.
If you are passionate about communication, digital platforms and writing, this could be your opportunity to join a global agency team working on one of the world’s biggest FMCG brands.
We’re looking for a digitally savvy writer who understands everything from website copy, to social post copy, writing for engagement, to the latest and great tik-tok trends.
The area of focus is delivering a clear copy message that accompanies the execution materials, managing timelines and budgets as well as the day-to-day requirements in the creative department. You will be expected to execute the projects assigned to you, on strategy and be able to interact with the client and internal stakeholders. You will need a competitive combination of technical knowledge, skill, education, and field experience. As mentor to junior team members, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing Junior Copywriters’ work and maintaining brand consistency across all channels. Ultimately, you will create informative and engaging content about the clients products and services for the relevant audiences. Show up every day with an attitude of curiosity and positivity.
**You are**:

- Highly proficient in the intricacies of writing in English.
- Able to write in different characters and brand styles.
- Familiar with different social media formats, from static to video and everything in-between.
- Up-to-date with digital and traditional media trends.
- Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Brainstorming ideas and concepts.
- Working in a close-knit creative partnership with the Creative Director or, Art Director to generate workable concepts and ideas.
- Writing clear, persuasive, original copy.
- Craft engaging messaging for social media campaigns targeting online users.
- Conceptualize and craft blog, website articles and social media posts to drive traffic to client websites.
- Submitting ideas and discussing progress with the creative director before making presentations to clients.
- Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the CD or clients.
- Working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar
- Adapt global work for a local audience.
- To work within a creative team, as a team player ready to take on any project that may come into the creative studio.
- To present work internally and externally in a clear and professional manner
- Work closely with relevant account teams, ensuring effective communication and management of teams’ expectations.
- Staying on top of consumer conversations that are trending.
- Keep up to date with consumer engagement technologies.
- Ability to keep up to date with industry trends and standards in order to ensure that work is always fresh, world-class and original.
- Ability to be current with the latest trends of influencers across the entertainment and tech industries.
- To manage and take ownership of projects from origination to completion
- Accurate recording of work time.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree required and/or 4+ years’ experience with an advertising organisation, with at least 2 years’ previous experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite of products: Word, Powerpoint and a basic understanding of Excel.
- Advertising experience preferential.
- A powerful creative portfolio that demonstrates originality, innovation and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrate the ability to frame the conceptual idea in line with strategy and concept.
- Finely honed copywriting skills and latest techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills; a team player, persuasive negotiator, positive and innovative thinker.
- Maintain high standards for execution and attention to tone and detail.
- Good knowledge of required ecommerce best practices.
- Understanding of the enormous capabilities of the web.
- Strong ability to multi-task.
**Great to have but not essential**:
- Side hustle creating audio, video or social content.
